Or Could it Be 60's???? I found this beauty and it was sort of dusty so I read all about cleaning these type needlework pieces and I opted to vacuum it and it worked great. I used the attachment meant for furniture. I could tell a big difference. I am learning as I go and that is what makes thrifting so fun!!

Very Vintage Antiques Mall & Gifts

Well, I don't know if anyone can relate but moving "stuff".....vintage treasures to me..... Is hard work. I am setting up my booth in Quitman Georgia and I am spinning around. Taking hundreds of treasure and making it all fit together is hard. I have a passion for Pink, but can go right to retro psychedelic in a second. I am trying to tell a story in my booth and I am officially having writers block!!!!!
Now onto a positive note I am bringing reinforcement today, my Mom....wish me well!!!!

Coolest Illustration of the Week

I thrifted some books lately....well I do that almost every other day.....This book called "Decorating with Color" by Carleton Varney has these hand drawn pictures with cool color combinations, it was printed in 1972. The above was one of my faves because of the pastel feel.
I worked on my booth in Quitman Georgia "Very Vintage Antiques" Carolyn Taylor is the owner and is doing a fantastic job getting the former furniture store ready to open.
More and more people are bargain hunting and it is a great time to start if you haven't. My husband calls it a down turn economy. I like that phrase, anyway now is a great time to thrift, even fashion is driven by the "Vintage Look". My teenage daughters wear a T-Shirt from Goodwill at least 3 times a week. I have gotten the hunt down to a fine art. I can pick them out, wash them and they wear them the next day.
Take Care,
xo
